Yellowstone National Park is the perfect place for an early fall vacation. The weather is nice; the crowds are thin; and the animals are fat and shiny from their summer-long grazing.

We took a studio break and got to hike in the Indian Peaks Wilderness near Brainard Lake in Colorado.
