My still life photography celebrates the beauty of organically grown fruits and vegetables sourced from farmers’ markets throughout Northern California, with many pieces inspired by the vibrant offerings of Sonoma. Each composition begins with ingredients chosen at their peak—whether it’s a simple bag of nine oranges from a roadside stand in Fresno, crisp fall apples, or summer heirloom beans—and transforms them into studies of color, shape, and texture. I am drawn to the quiet details: the curve of a chili, the matte bloom on a plum, the layered leaves of radishes still dusted with soil. By bringing these elements into a controlled studio environment, I aim to elevate everyday produce into visual narratives that honor seasonality, craftsmanship, and the connection between land, grower, and table.
