A Sweet Website Refresh for Sue Bee Honey
One of our favorite recent projects was creating a new recipe library and refreshing the website for Sue Bee Honey. We explored the incredible versatility of honey through a collection of fresh, approachable recipes that inspire consumers to use honey throughout the day. From breakfast parfaits and grilled nut butter sandwiches to sparkling blueberry soda and a beautifully roasted whole chicken, every recipe was designed to showcase the natural sweetness and flavor that honey brings to everyday meals and snacks.
To help tell the brand story, we also created custom beehive props, building and hand-painting them to illustrate the journey from hive to table. The imagery celebrates the dedicated network of artisan beekeepers behind Sue Bee Honey, people who care for their bees with patience, respect, and a deep connection to the natural environments where the honey is produced. We also made a foodservice set complete with a chef!
Alongside the photography, we captured motion content that brings each recipe and process to life. Be sure to visit Sue Bee Honey's channels to see the videos, reels, and behind-the-scenes moments from this sweet and inspiring project.
Dairy Queen Value Meal Campaign
Colle McVoy hired me to capture images for their client Dairy Queen’s summer value meal campaign. This exciting project included lighting and shooting on studio sets, as well as capturing talent on motion sets. I really enjoyed working on a project with such a talented team and vibrant creative direction!
A Sunny Lifestyle Shoot for Anatolio Juices and Dried Fruits
To bring the an organic juice vision to life, the client and I cast five beautiful and diverse models from Los Angeles, through social media outreach, and photographed them throughout a stunning mid-century modern Peerspace home filled with natural light and endless creative possibilities. The location gave us an incredible range of environments to work with all in one place, from a sunny outdoor patio and modern kitchen to a bamboo-lined deck, outdoor dining setup, cozy archway, and clean interior dining spaces.
Summer Campaign Shoot for Vallarta Supermarkets
It was a total joy collaborating with Esmeralda, the designer for Vallarta Supermarkets, on a vibrant summer campaign that will appear in signage across more than 60 of their stores. The project began with a creative test focused on an unusual visual idea—photographing food against a water backdrop. To help bring the concept to life, I built a small studio test using layered props, reflective water surfaces, and real Mexican dishes. These early images gave Esmeralda something tangible to present to her team as they explored the direction for the campaign.
Hot Grill Summer
Summer shoots just hit different. ☀️🍔🔥
We spent the day creating a new grilling video inspired by the ultimate fast food meal, complete with smoky burgers, crispy fries, ice-cold drinks, and all the summer vibes. The concept was all about friends hanging out, playing games, laughing between takes, and soaking up a beautiful sunny day together.
This shoot was also our testing ground for a brand new set, updated lighting setups, fresh macro shots, motion experiments, and new recipes we’ve been developing in the studio. There’s nothing better than seeing the food sizzle on camera while the crew collaborates and pushes ideas further with every setup.
Days like this are why we love creating. Great food, great light, and a team that genuinely has fun making it all come to life. 🎥🌭🍟
Menu Masters by Nations Restaurant News
It was a treat to photograph the exciting Menu Masters Cooking Collaboration by Nations Restaurant News at the Culinary Institute of America's Copia campus in Napa, CA. Ventura Foods presented a nice donation to their students and four teams of winning chefs each designed 2 appetizers that will be served at the National Restaurant Show in Chicago. Here are a few highlights.
