Steak Restaurant Success
Ready for a feast for the eyes? I had the incredible opportunity to shoot for The Gambling Cowboy Chophouse & Saloon, a true Temecula institution. Nestled in the heart of SoCal wine country, this place is run by a powerhouse woman-chef who has been serving up some of the best steaks in town for over 15 years.
The connection? A chance meeting with her son at a local farm stand over the summer. When I showed him some photos of his produce and my own cooking creations with it, he invited me to come and shoot for their new menu. Of course, I said yes!
With hundreds of five-star reviews and a staff that feels like family, this isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience, complete with local wines and live music on the weekends. My goal was to capture that unique vibe. We used a cinematic, authentic style, with the fantastic staff stepping in as hand models to pour, sauce, and carve, bringing the dishes to life on camera. The results are a mouth-watering tribute to their craft.
The famous saloon has SoCal art, artisan beer, and high-end spirits along with local wines.
The wait staff was overjoyed to pose in one of their dining rooms.
