Art Show in Denver

Written By Judy Doherty

My fine art practice has had an exciting ramp-up. I have been painting a new series titled, Morphed. What started as a xeriscape project to make a low-water pollinator garden quickly turned into a beautiful painting series.

Abstract paintings at a Denver art show, artwork photography

Morphed is a new series of abstract paintings created in watercolor and gouache on basswood panels to bring awareness to butterflies and other pollinators.

Here is a reel I created for D’art Gallery, of which I am one of 20 coop members. It emphasizes that we are a talented group of Colorado artists who run this beautiful gallery on Sante Fe drive, in the heart of the Denver Art District!

Follow us on Instagram @dartgallerydenver to learn about all of the artists and shows!

Come to our opening event on Friday August 11.
