Elevated UGC vs. Influencer UGC for CPG Brands

User generated content works because it feels real. Shoppers trust a hand holding a product in a real kitchen more than a polished ad. But there are two very different ways to get that look: influencer UGC and elevated UGC.

What Influencer UGC Is

Influencer UGC comes from creators who shoot your product on their own phones, in their own homes, for their own audience. It can be great for reach and authenticity. The tradeoffs are control and consistency: lighting, color, framing and how your product looks all vary from creator to creator, and usage rights can be limited.

What Elevated UGC Is

Elevated UGC keeps the casual, native feel of UGC, real hands, real moments and phone-style framing, but it is planned, styled and lit in a studio or on location by a professional team. Your product is on brand in every frame, the food looks delicious, and you own a library of images and short videos you can use everywhere.

How to Choose

  • Use influencer UGC when you need reach and a creator's audience.

  • Use elevated UGC when you need content for ads, Amazon, your website and social that looks consistent and on brand.

  • Use both together: elevated UGC gives you a reliable base library, and influencer posts add reach on top.

What an Elevated UGC Shoot Looks Like

We plan a shot list around how real people use your product: unboxing, pouring, snacking, cooking, on the go. We cast models, style the food, and shoot vertical photos and short clips that feel native to social, with the lighting and styling of a commercial shoot. You can join live on Zoom and approve shots as we go.

Elevated UGC is one of our strengths, especially for food and foodservice brands that want elegant lifestyle content that still feels real. See our elevated UGC page or book a free call.
