Studio Precision Meets Culinary Authenticity

While the studio keeps me driven, another passion is on-location restaurant photography. I thrive on the challenge of capturing exceptional shots within a live environment, collaborating closely with a skilled culinary team—a dynamic I value from my earlier days in commercial kitchens.

My research into Javier’s Cantina—its history, stellar reviews, and resilience post-COVID—was immediately compelling.

The Newport Beach location provided a stunning backdrop, specifically a massive, ocean-view, solid maple table. I strategically placed lighting to not only highlight the dishes but also to capture the immersive ambiance—the interplay of natural light, the large candles, and the orchids casting beautiful shadows.
