Fast Food Test
Here’s a studio test featuring new props, fresh surfaces, and our latest mobile lighting setup designed for on-location shoots. These sessions are where we push and refine, experimenting with light modifiers, dialing in color, shaping shadows, and testing timing. It’s all part of staying sharp, keeping our tools up to date, and ensuring every shoot runs seamlessly with beautiful, controlled results.
This one started with a live DoorDash delivery. Lights and props were dialed in first, then the food was styled the moment it arrived, so everything stayed fresh and camera-ready. Two lighting setups went head-to-head, with different shadows and modifiers in play. The “crazy ketchup” moment? Inspired by the way a model’s boyfriend always loads up his fries, sometimes the best creative direction comes from real life.
And while it might look like a full-scale production, this was executed by a two-person team in just three hours. A well-stocked, highly organized studio and prop room, paired with a deep digital library of ideas, enables moving fast, staying creative, and bringing concepts to life efficiently. Also, practice makes perfect, and we love to practice!
