Date Night Vibe with Bondolio

There is something deeply therapeutic about slowing down to style a scene where the ingredients are allowed to speak for themselves. In the studio, we often work with complex setups, but tonight’s personal shoot focused on simplicity, light, and one very specific star: Bondolio Olive Oil.

If you haven’t tried it, Bondolio is our favorite and an award-winning California-grown olive oil. It is rich, complex, and bright enough to wake up every other flavor on the table. It isn’t just an ingredient; it’s the centerpiece.

To let the oil shine, I prepared a simple Ravioli alla Fresca. No heavy sauces or complicated techniques—just the essentials:

  • Fresh cheesy pasta for a soft, savory base.

  • Chopped ripe tomatoes for a hit of acidity.

  • Crispy garlic slivers for texture and aromatics.

  • Torn garden basil to bring that fresh, earthy fragrance.

The magic happens in the final moment. A heavy drizzle of that "liquid gold" ties the whole dish together. Its signature peppery finish cuts through the cheese's richness, creating a balance that’s hard to beat.
